With Satellite your Closed Captions come from the Satellite receiver. No amount of messing with the TV setting will bring back the Closed Captions, you need to address the issue on the Satellite Receiver end. Put the remote on Satellite function then hit menu to get to the settings menu and you should be able to turn it back on from there! More
